Why rooms are not open yet
Public rooms and a questions board need someone to read them. That means moderation, a written safety policy, and particular care because some learners here are under 18. Opening a room nobody is watching would be worse than not opening one.
The conditions that must hold first are written down on the child safety page, and it opens once there is a second pair of hands. See volunteer roles →
